Éva SOMOGYINÉ KOMLÓSI holds a Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. László Szerb in regional science from University of Pécs, Hungary. Her PhD dissertation deals with issues on contemporary Japanese regional development policy. In 2010, she won Japanese state-financed scholarship to study as research student in Japan. Since 2012 Éva has been working as research assistant in MTA-PTE Innovation and Economic Growth Research Group at University of Pécs. She has recently participated in research project focusing on the construction of ’regional’ GEDI index (REDI). Her main task is to investigate the effects of institutional factors on entrepreneurship.
Her main research interests in relation to this project involve regional entrepreneurship and regional development.
